Mentor Graphics Enhances Wire Harness Engineering Software

9/3/2003 - Mentor Graphics® Corporation has released the latest version of its popular Capital ManufactureTM & Capital Factory® electrical wire harness engineering / production software. Capital Manufacture & Capital Factory version 4.0 contains a number of enhancements such as:

  • Enhanced user-configurable multi-sheet printing capability, including a TIFF output option.
  • Additional wire-fits-cavity validation checking.
  • Additional model variables within the Capital Costing(tm) software module.
  • Improvements to the interface with Dassault Systèmes' CATIA V4 MCAD software.
  • Capital Autoloader(tm), a new product that automatically detects and loads new harness, component and costing data into the Capital Manufacture database.
