Schema Development Suite Creates Hitachi G1000 Pocket PC Phone

8/4/2003 - Accelent Systems announced that one of the world’s leading manufacturers of notebook computers and mobile devices chose Accelent Systems’ Schema Development Suite to develop the Hitachi G1000 Pocket PC Phone. A Windows Mobile-Based Pocket PC Phone, the Hitachi G1000 is the first Pocket PC to integrate a rotating camera, built-in keyboard and wireless phone all in one device. The Hitachi G1000 combines the functionality of a Pocket PC with the advanced wireless data applications delivered by the faster data speeds of the Enhanced Sprint Nationwide PCS Network.

Schema Development Suite enables rapid development of production-ready Board Support Packages (BSP) that can be integrated into Microsoft operating system tools, including Microsoft Platform Builder. Schema Development Suite includes source code for the boot loader, OAL and over 100 device drivers streamlining traditional development methods.
