Federal Aviation Administration Awards Titan with $200 Million Contract

7/23/2003 - The Titan Corporation (NYSE: TTN) announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded the company an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract having a potential value of $200 million over the next ten years. Under this multiple-awarded, task order-based contract, Titan will compete against three other companies to provide system engineering and acquisition management support and services throughout the FAA under the Multiple Area Support Services procurement vehicle.

"It clearly illustrates Titan's quality performance record and capability to provide a broad range of technical support services and resources to the FAA’s mission."

Future FAA tasking under this contract will capitalize on Titan's technical capabilities in the areas of air traffic control automation, communication, navigation, surveillance, telecommunications, program management, acquisition management, and business process reengineering.
