SBE Selects New Vice President of Marketing

7/8/2003 - SBE Inc. (NASDAQ: SBEI), a leading supplier of high performance OEM communications solutions, announced that it has appointed Yee-Ling Chin to the role of Vice President of Marketing. In this role, Ms. Chin will be responsible for guiding the companyís marketing strategy, driving product positioning, managing marketing channels and contributing to the overall growth of the business.

Prior to joining SBE, Ms. Chin directed marketing communications initiatives for SBS Technologies across the communications, commercial and government sectors. Chin joined SBS following the acquisition of SDL Communications, where she spearheaded corporate and product marketing efforts. At SDL, Ms. Chin started as a one-person marketing team and quickly expanded the marketing organization as sales revenues doubled within the first year. Ms. Chinís charter at SDL included building the companyís brand, enhancing product positioning, and increasing lead generation.

Previous background experience includes marketing and project management roles with Fidelity Capital, Putnam Investments, New England Development, and Thompson Becker International, a public relations and marketing communications agency.
