Traquair Integrates HERON DSP with Linux, Windows 2000, XP

6/27/2003 - Traquair Data Systems, Inc. announced the support of Linux, Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems for HERON DSP Systems, providing developers with several alternative host-side development platforms.

Integration of HERON DSP hardware technology with Linux, Windows 2000 and Windows XP host computer systems extends the development accessibility for HERON DSP Systems, putting powerful, flexible, multiple processor DSP technology in the hands of more developers than ever.

HERON Modular DSP Systems
HERON DSP systems allow groups of extremely powerful TMS320C6000TM DSPs and high density Virtex®-II FPGAs to be combined and utilized together, along with fully integrated data acquisition and I/O hardware, in stand-alone or computer-hosted environments. HERON systems target demanding real-time, computationally intensive applications such as software defined radios (SDR), industrial imaging, automation, sonar and radar.
