6/26/2003 - M-Systems (Nasdaq: FLSH), a leader in flash-based data storage products, announced that the DiskOnKey technology would serve as a storage option for new HP Compaq business desktop PCs. The uniquely designed DriveKey features the DiskOnKey's renowned ease-of-use, performance and portability, complementing HP's new desktop systems with a flexible portable storage solution that can replace a floppy disk drive. DriveKeys of 16, 64, 128 and 256MB will be offered from HP at the time of system configuration, and also as an aftermarket option with the D220, D230, D330 and D530 models.

HP's DriveKey incorporates M-Systems' innovative DiskOnKey technology offering an array of functionality based on hardware design and software applications that raise the bar of USB drives beyond storage. The DiskOnKey takes a complex internal architecture that includes M-Systems' patented technology with a 32-bit ARM7 processor offering users ease-of-use, security and reliability in diminutive form factor. Additionally the platform offers enhanced storage with the capability to support applications and complex security algorithms including the KeySafe security application and bootability functions operating directly from the device. M-Systems has also designed the devices with full-speed and hi-speed USB capability meeting the vast demands of today's computer manufacturers.
