6/20/2003 - TimeSys(TM) Corporation announced that it has appointed Steve Grady to manage the company's channel partnership strategy. As Vice President of Business Development, the former Marconi PLC executive is responsible for increasing TimeSys' presence in the embedded systems industry by leveraging partnerships with embedded hardware vendors, value-add resellers, system integrators, and application software vendors.
"Our partnerships have produced incredible business value for TimeSys. They extend our market reach, product capabilities, and business opportunities," said TimeSys CEO Larry Weidman. "Steve brings the focus and experience we need to take our partnership efforts to the next level. We expect our partnership program to grow aggressively under Steve's leadership, further increasing our product portfolio and visibility in the embedded systems market."
Steve has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, business development and software product development for technology companies ranging from early stage start-ups to large global corporations. Prior to joining TimeSys, Steve was VP of Marketing, Sales and Business Development for Arista Networks in Palo Alto, CA. He has held senior level management positions at Marconi Systems in Marshall Township, PA, and was a founder and General Manager of Fire Networks. Steve also has held senior engineering positions at ADC and AT&T Bell Labs. Steve received his MSEE and BSEE degrees from the University of Illinois.
