VersaLogic Launches VxWorks BSP for Jaguar PC/104-Plus Embedded Board
6/16/2003 - VersaLogic Corp. announced the market launch of a VxWorks Board Support Package (BSP) for their popular Jaguar PC/104-Plus embedded computer. This release of the real time operating system (RTOS) BSP for Wind River Systems’ VxWorks® comes on the heels of a similar announcement for VersaLogic’s VSBC-8 EBX board.
This BSP for one of the industry’s most-widely recognized RTOSes will allow developers to configure their systems quickly and develop applications in a shorter timeframe. The BSP supports the Jaguar Flash BIOS with OEM enhancements, a CPU temperature monitor interrupt, I/O options and other functions. VersaLogic used Wind River’s Tornado® 2.2 development tools to build, test and validate the BSP for the Jaguar single board computer. The Jaguar BSP is designed to be installed on top of Wind River's Tornado 2.2 integrated development environment (IDE) in a Windows host environment.
The Jaguar, a Pentium III PC/104-Plus embedded computer, is designed for long-life, high reliability applications. Target markets include military, aerospace, industrial control.
