6/12/2003 - Jungo® Software Technologies released WinDriver v6 for Solaris Sparc 64-bit, introducing the first tool to enable PCI driver development for Solaris Sparc 64-bit platforms. WinDriver's cross platform technology now enables Solaris users to easily port their WinDriver-based driver applications from both Windows and Linux operating systems to Solaris Sparc 64-bit.
Jungo WinDriver provides a complete solution for creating high performance drivers and custom hardware access applications by enabling immediate hardware access, automatic driver code generation, and user mode driver development and debugging. WinDriver's cross platform compatibility further allows Solaris Sparc 64-bit developers to overcome the barriers to PCI device driver development by enabling smooth migration between operating systems, including Solaris, Windows and Linux.
"Jungo continuously widens its support to include the latest major operating system versions, ensuring availability of its tools to a wide audience of device developers," said Ophir Herbst, General Manager, Jungo Software Tools Division. "Jungo technology now enables Solaris Sparc 64-bit PCI developers to focus on their driver's added-value functionality, and not on operating system internals."
A free full featured, 30 day evaluation version of WinDriver v6 for Solaris Sparc is available for download from the Jungo web site at: http://www.jungo.com/dnload.html. Jungo's products may be purchased from Jungo directly, or via one of Jungo's worldwide resellers.
