Elanix Unveils CDMA2000 Library for SystemView
6/2/2003 - Elanix, Inc., a leader in simulation and analysis software, announced the release of the CDMA2000 Library, to add to the SystemView environment all the functionality required for complete standard-compliant physical layer transmitter and receiver design, building and testing.
The CDMA2000 Library offers a hierarchy of design abstractions from individual physical channel building blocks such as the Turbo Encoder and Decoder tokens to fully integrated, standalone Basestation and UE tokens. The custom Windows interfaces guide the user through the complexities of standard terminology enabling the engineer to concentrate on solving the design issues at hand. When coupled with SystemView’s power to support a range of engineering domains, the CDMA2000 library provides all members of a multidisciplinary team, access to the same ease-of-use and standard–compliance.
CDMA2000 Library Features
General Features:
- Fully compliant with the 3GPP2 Standard Specification
- Complete system to simulate CDMA2000 physical layer, bi-directionally between the Base Station and the Mobile Station
- Reverse and Forward Link transmissions with Spreading Factor 1 (SF1) and Spreading Factor 3 (SF3)
- Reverse and Forward Link transmissions for all Radio Configurations
Technical Features:
- Orthogonal Transmit Diversity (OTD), and non-Transmit Diversity (non-TD) methods in Forward Link transmission with SF1.
- Multi Carrier configuration in Forward Link transmission with SF3.
- Reverse Link with HPSK modulation (SF1 and SF3).
- Fix, flexible and variable data rates operations for Traffic Channels in Reverse and Forward Link.
- Channel encoding and decoding with turbo codes and convolutional codes with BER/FER measurements.
- Spreading function using Walsh codes and Quasi Orthogonal Functions.
Design Benefits:
- Hierarchial structure, from single function blocks to Layer 1 System-level blocks
- Basestation Model implementing a complete standard-compliant forward link transmission channel set
- UE (User Equipment) Model implementing a complete standard-compliant reverse link transmission channel set.
- User-friendly, intuitive, efficient Graphical User Interface
Price and Availability
US list price for the CDMA2000 Library, together with the SystemView Communication Design Suite, is $24,490 for a single user license. Available now. The SystemView software is also sold separately and US list price starts at $4,995.00. SystemView is available for Windows 95, 98, NT, ME, 2000, and XP operating systems.
