Electrim Unveils Rugged CMOS USB 2.0 Camera Models
5/19/2003 - Electrim Corporation is pleased to announce two new 1/2 inch CMOS USB 2.0 computer cameras. Both the EDC-3000A (monochrome) and EDC-3000B (color) feature 1280×1024 8-bit pixel resolution, with frame rates up to 14.33 frames per second. Pixel size is 5.2×5.2 microns.
Rugged extruded aluminum body measures 65×43×43mm, with standard 1/4 inch tripod mounting hole; weight is approximately 175gm (less lens). Lens mount is C/CS. External connections are USB 2.0 standard size B connector, and Hirose connector (for signaling image acquisition). Software interface is Microsoft Direct Show®.
The EDC-3000 series cameras are shipping now at a cost $390 in single unit quantities.
