Kane Computing Showcases DSP Development Tools at ESS 2003

5/8/2003 - Kane Computing will be demonstrating DSP development tools including high-speed emulators, visual programming software, starter kits, evaluation boards and accessories.

  • MPEG4 Audio/Vision compression will be demonstrated using the latest DSP based IEK (Image Evaluation Kit) boards via an ethernet connection.
  • Embedded industrial motion control, data acquisition and video capture boards will be on show to various bus standards including PC104+, Compact PCI and CANbus.
  • New multiple DSP development and OEM boards will also be on show for high end applications such as medical scanners, radar/sonar, digital radio, video recording, satellite ground stations. These products use the latest DSP technology including Texas Instruments TMS320C6416 DSPs, ADI Hammerhead DSPs, etc.
  • A complete range of telephony algorithms, vocoders, fax and data modems, internet audio and voice/fax over IP are now available from Kane Computing.
  • A number of Developers Kits will be on show including an Internet Audio Module featuring TI's TMS320DA250 DSP, a Modem Developers Kit and a Client-Side Telephony Developers Kit. The latter includes a range of data, telephony and voice algorithms in flash memory to speed up algorithm selection decisions.
