4/30/2003 - IP Infusion, a leading provider of intelligent network software for enhanced IP services, announced that it will demonstrate its line of ZebOS® routing product suites, with a primary focus on its binary software solutions coupled with secure appliances, such as the Resilience DX4000 VPN/Firewall appliance, at Networld+Interop Las Vegas 2003, being held April 29-May 1, 2003 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. IP Infusion’s ZebOS solutions provide sophisticated IPv4/IPv6 routing and switching software that enables vendors to rapidly create robust product offerings for a broad range of core, edge and access devices. Visit IP Infusion BOOTH 6591 to see a live ZebOS software solutions demonstration.
The demonstration will show a binary routing application for appliance platforms known as the ZebOS Server Routing Suite (SRS); a binary home gateway application for access devices; and the ZebOS Advanced Routing Suite (ARS), which is available in source code form. IP Infusion’s Server Routing Suite software will run in a workstation with a firewall, which acts as a gateway to the Internet and communicates to the access device platform that features IP Infusion’s IPv4/IPv6 access software and MontaVista Linux Professional Edition running on an Intel IXP425; also the Advanced Routing Suite will run on an Intel IXP2400.
“Our ZebOS Server Routing Suite is a derivative of our source code with all its features and many years of embedded developments and debugging. It is a scalable routing application that works with firewall or VPN software to create a flexible, multi-purpose networking solution,” said Nick Keating president and CEO of IP Infusion. “With today’s off-the-shelf approach to the appliance market, the Server Routing Suite can transform an ordinary PC platform to a full-featured and advanced routing platform for a fraction of the cost of dedicated communications equipment.”
The enterprise-class ZebOS Server Routing Suite can transform any Linux or Solaris server into an advanced routing platform through its sophisticated array of RIP, BGP, OSPF, and PIM-SM routing protocols and MPLS-VPN switching capabilities. The ZebOS Server Routing Suite also provides detailed syslog and debug logging and SNMP management support.
