Type 2050: 360º anorectal scanning in a slim new housing with built-in 3-D
The 2050 transducer is a revolutionary update of B-K Medical’s classic 360º anorectal scanning technology, with a scanning frequency of 6-16 MHz. Its physical and functional advantages solve many problems associated with anorectal scanning and give colorectal surgeons an unsurpassed new diagnostic tool.
The 2050 offers 3-D imaging with no external moving parts, for clear, undisturbed images. It produces detailed high-resolution views of the layers of the rectal wall and gives excellent image quality all the way from the anal canal to the sigmoideum.
Type 8809: A very high resolution transducer for difficult to access areas
The 8809 transducer combines a small, flat and uniquely flexible tip with a very high resolution of 15 MHz in the extreme near field, thus addressing the needs of the vascular, surgical and musculoskeletal specializations.
It has excellent Doppler sensitivity and supports electronically steerable Doppler, so that blood flow can be visualized even in vessels parallel to the surface being scanned.
The specially designed puncture guide follows the flexible tip of the transducer, making the 8809 ideal for ultrasound-guided interventional procedures like biopsies and precise therapeutic injections.
