TeleVantage Integrates Seamlessly with NetLink Wireless Telephones

4/25/2003 - Artisoft®, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASFT), developer of the first software-based phone system, and SpectraLink Corporation (NASDAQ: SLNK), a leading manufacturer and supplier of workplace wireless telephone systems, announced a joint wireless communications solution. Artisoft's TeleVantage® 5.0 now seamlessly integrates with SpectraLink's NetLink Wireless Telephones to enable businesses to use the advanced telephony features of TeleVantage with wireless handsets over an existing standard wireless network. This strategic relationship, formed under Artisoft's Open Communication Alliance, empowers both companies to promote the solution to their respective channels.

This powerful solution will allow TeleVantage customers to add NetLink Wireless Telephones to their communications system, further enabling mobility, increasing productivity, and enhancing customer service. Users will be able to utilize the rich features of the TeleVantage phone interface - including managing multiple calls, transferring and conferencing callers, and accessing settings and voice mail - over wireless handsets.

"Voice over wireless networks is fast becoming a critical requirement for the TeleVantage customer base," said Diana Vlamis, Director of Business Development at Artisoft. "This integrated solution with SpectraLink demonstrates our commitment to open standards and exposes new opportunities in markets, such as healthcare, manufacturing, and retail, where having wide range wireless functionality is fundamental."

Artisoft's award-winning TeleVantage is a feature-rich, software-based phone system that combines rock-solid stability with the most advanced communications technology available today.
