4/18/2003 - Telefuture officially announces it has selected the 'Multimedia Mobile Gateway' (MMG) to deploy its premium and mobile personalization services in Northern Europe. The 'Multimedia Mobile Gateway' is a messaging solution developed by Swapcom, a leading European provider of mobile software systems.
Telefuture provides interactive telecommunication services such as chat, dating, call & win, SMS & win, logos, (polyphonic) ringtones, voicemails, voicecards, java games, voting and more. As a service provider, Telefuture needed to exchange multimedia messages with wireless networks, such as Premium SMS and soon MMS. To that end, Swapcom has equipped Telefuture with a best-of-breed messaging platform, enabling quick and secure connection to mobile infrastructures for the delivery of messages (SMS, MMS, e-mail, WAP Push etc.)
Multimedia Mobile Gateway connection interfaces enable service providers to simply exchange messages with cellcos networks using standard internet protocols, without the need to implement complex telecommunication protocols.
