4/2/2003 - IONA®, the leading provider of Rapid Integration software (NASDAQ: IONA), announced a worldwide seminar series focused on "Changing the Economics of IT Through Rapid Integration," with HP. It is the industry's first seminar series dedicated to the challenges of multi-middleware integration in the telecommunications and finance industries.
Each half-day seminar is free and will offer system architects, vice presidents, directors, and senior managers of enterprise infrastructure, as well as other IT decision makers, the opportunity to gain first hand insight into IONA and HP's pioneering solution for multi-middleware integration. The series will kick off in Tyson's Corner, Virginia on April 1, 2003.
Attendees will gain in-depth knowledge on how to consolidate and extend redundant applications and middleware systems with a service-oriented architecture, and the associated cost, resource allocation, asset reuse, risk mitigation, and time savings benefits a service-oriented approach to integration can offer their organizations.
"We are delighted to be working with IONA for this seminar series," said Gina M. Cassinelli, marketing director, HP Enterprise Solution Partners. "By leveraging the powerful combination of IONA's Rapid Integration solutions and HP's hardware, software and services, we can deliver a truly unique and compelling offering for organizations looking to solve complex middleware integration problems."
"Our Rapid Integration solutions are changing the way customers approach and conquer integration challenges¾allowing them to create new applications and streamline business processes quickly, efficiently, and in a way that promotes continuous ROI," said Bob Potter, executive vice president of Business Operations at IONA. "Effective industry collaboration further extends the value of our software for customers, and this latest seminar series with HP promises to be a highly-rewarding event for customers around the world."
