3/27/2003 - China presents the largest growth opportunity in the DSL market. Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NYSE: TXN), the number one chipset provider for China's DSL central office (CO) manufacturers, has recently increased its regional presence to support the explosive growth of broadband in China and Asia. TI has hired a marketing director to oversee TI's Asian customers and provide more regional marketing support for TI's DSL solutions. In addition, TI is increasing technical resources to provide customer service and design support for OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and ODMs (original design manufacturers) using TI solutions.
