3/20/2003 - Brooktrout executives will lead discussions in two speaking sessions on April 3 during the Spring VON conference that will explore some of the latest issues surrounding IP Technology. At 9:00 a.m., Guy Redmill, senior market development manager for Brooktrout, will moderate a panel discussion entitled, “Enhancing Development Efficiencies and Economics Through Strategic Partnerships.” The panelists will discuss the advantages that can be obtained through leveraging open components in systems, and will provide real-world examples of their outsourcing experiences.
Brooktrout’s senior product manger, James Rafferty, will participate on a panel entitled, “Signaling Services for IP Networks” at 3:30 p.m. During his presentation, Mr. Rafferty will discuss some likely approaches for service creation in the emerging converged network, including ways to leverage existing SS7 signaling and the potential use of SIP signaling to enable portable and new services.
