(NYSE: MOT), announced it has extended its sales reach in the southeast United States through an agreement with Electronic Manufacturers' Agents, an authorized manufacturers' representative focused on system-level products and electronic components. The agreement between Motorola and EMA will enable Motorola to provide the high level of service required in the region's demanding business environment.
With offices in all seven southeastern states, EMA's team will be actively involved in selling Motorola's standards-based embedded computing building blocks, including open-architecture hardware, rich software and application-ready platforms built on PICMG® and VMEbus standards.
