Performance Technologies Launches Redundant Host Product Line

2/25/2003 - Performance Technologies (Nasdaq NM: PTIX) introduced the Redundant Host Product Line, featuring the industry's fastest, standards-based failover architecture for High Availability (HA), "always-on" embedded systems. Targeted to mission critical military and time-sensitive communications applications, the intelligent and ultra fast Redundant Host architecture enables equipment developers to build the highest available systems by shortening failover time from seconds to single digit milliseconds.

Performance Technologies' Redundant Host products are comprised of the new ZiatechTM Redundant Host Software Development Kit (RHSDK), the ZT 5524e Single Board Computer and the ZT 5085e Platform. These are the first products to be based on the Redundant Host aspect of the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group (PICMG®) 2.12 standard.
