2/20/2003 - Bermai Inc., pioneer of high-performance, ultra-integrated semiconductor solutions for wireless applications, has selected the Agilent 93000 with RF Measurement Suite to test the company's optimized systems-on-a-chip (SOC) solutions for wireless data networks. Bermai is currently using the 93000 for multi-site test of its SOC solutions, and is developing a concurrent test program to use the 93000 for testing of its next-generation wireless semiconductor systems.
Bermai has selected the Agilent 93000 with RF Measurement Suite as the company's sole test platform based on the system's versatility and tester-per-pin performance. The platform provides test coverage for RF, analog, digital, embedded memory and scan functions, eliminating the need for multiple test platforms. The platform's tester-per-pin architecture complements this versatility, driving high-performance signals to any or all of these functional areas. The Agilent 93000's tester-per-pin architecture and versatility enable the platform to conduct multi-site test on Bermai's high-performance, ultra-integrated products, reducing overall cost of test.

The tester-per-pin architecture of the Agilent 93000 with RF Measurement Suite also enables concurrent test, which further reduces test times as integration levels increase. Under concurrent test, digital, analog and RF IP blocks can be tested simultaneously, which reduces test time per device. Additionally, concurrent test implemented with multi-site test minimizes per-device test times, dramatically reducing overall cost of test. Bermai is currently planning to use multi-site testing on the Agilent 93000, and will be developing a concurrent test program for future generations of their wireless systems-on-chip.
