Dot Hill to Demonstrate Healthcare Storage Solutions at HIMSS Conference

2/10/2003 - Dot Hill (AMEX:HIL) will display its latest storage solutions including SANnet® II and Axis Storage ManagerTM at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Annual Conference and Exhibition. The exhibition takes place February 10-13, 2003, at the San Diego Convention Center. Dot Hill will showcase its SANnet II storage systems and demonstrate its Axis Storage Manager disaster protection and recovery products.

“Dot Hill has used its expertise with high availability and ruggedness to create specific solutions for the healthcare industry,” said Dana Kammersgard, CTO and co-founder of Dot Hill. “We are partnering with key solution providers in the healthcare industry to provide continuous access to patient information including medical records and X-rays.”

Oldelft Benelux BV, a Dutch medical imaging systems integrator, has integrated Dot Hill’s SANnet storage systems with Rogan Medical’s HyperPACS product suite in hospitals throughout the Netherlands. The online access to historical X-rays provided by this solution assists physicians in making faster diagnoses and speeding time to treatment.

Dot Hill’s SANnet II storage solutions are well suited to mandatory HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliance regulations. SANnet solutions are also used in PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications Systems) solutions to improve diagnoses and time to treatment.
