TDK Semiconductor Achieves ISO 9001 Certification from Underwriters Laboratories

2/6/2003 - TDK Semiconductor Corporation, a leader in mixed-signal and analog communication semiconductors, has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification after passing an extensive audit by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL).

According to John Silk, TDK Semiconductor’s director of product, quality and test engineering, “ISO 9001:2000 focuses the organization on refinement of core business processes, which we believe is essential to delivering quality products to satisfied customers."

TDK Semiconductor began the ISO 9001:2000 system implementation in 2001. Following UL’s multiple site examination of documented procedures and operations at the Company’s Tustin and Mountain View locations, TDK Semiconductor was awarded ISO 9001:2000 Certification on January 11, 2003. To insure continued compliance with ISO 9001, UL will conduct periodic surveillance audits of the Company’s operations.
