2/5/2003 - Tektronix, Inc. (NYSE: TEK) announced that Amad Doratotaj has joined the market-leading test, measurement, and monitoring company as the new Vice President of Worldwide Manufacturing.
In his new role, Doratotaj is responsible for worldwide manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and manufacturing engineering, which is part of Tektronix' Central Operations headed by Sr. Vice President Dave Coreson. Doratotaj will draw upon his more than 20 years' of executive leadership and senior management experience in manufacturing, design engineering, business development, and supply chain management to develop a new manufacturing structure that best supports the company's strategic initiatives and utilizes the talent, experience, and strengths of the current manufacturing management team.
Doratotaj's most recent positions include Vice President of Worldwide Operations and Customer Service for Harmonic, Inc. and Executive Vice President of Worldwide Business Operations at iLogistix/cmgi. He has also held senior management positions with Octel Communications/Lucent Technologies, FPS Computing/Cray Super-computer, and Spacelabs Medical.
Doratotaj has a BSEE degree from the University of Houston.
