Validated Software Releases DO-178B Validation Suite for InterNiche's ChronOS Operating System

2/4/2003 - Validated Software Corporation, the leader in affordable safety-critical certification packages for commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software, released the DO-178B Level A Validation SuiteTM for InterNiche's ChronOSTM real-time operating system. This strategic relationship provides a complete RTOS to customers in the safety, mission-critical and avionics community requiring robust platforms and FAA RTCA DO-178B or EUROCAE ED-12B certification. In addition, Validated and InterNiche are cooperating on a safety compliant TCP/IP stack based on InterNiche's popular NicheStackTM.

"This is a natural fit, where InterNiche brings a robust RTOS and Validated provides all the required artifacts to enable our software to be used in safety-critical systems", states Larry Larder, President and CEO of InterNiche. The DO-178B Validation Suite for ChronOS is available now, and contains a complete set of design, requirements, tests suites, code coverage, and traceability documents.
