12/22/2003 - Aptix Corporation, a leading supplier of pre-silicon prototyping tools and platforms for embedded system-on-chip (SoC) design, announced that it has joined the Altera® Commitment to Cooperative Engineering Solutions (ACCESS) Program®. (NASDAQ: ALTR). Altera and its EDA partners collaborate closely through the ACCESS Program to deliver a flexible, yet seamless design flow for creating system-on-a-programmable-chip (SOPC) designs.
“Many of our customers require support for prototyping and IP validation using Altera devices on Aptix platforms. Being a member of the ACCESS Program will let us better support Altera devices in our upcoming products,” said Richard Newell, director of hardware technical marketing at Aptix.
