Lucent Technologies Honors IDT with Top Supplier Award

12/22/2003 - IDTTM (Integrated Device Technology, Inc.; Nasdaq: IDTI), a leading communications IC company, announced it has received a 2003 Golden Link Award from Lucent Technologies, a leading designer of systems that drive next-generation communications networks. This award is given to Lucent’s top suppliers based on product quality, timeliness of delivery, technology, innovation and overall value.

Jose Mejia, president of Lucent’s Supply Chain Networks, commended this year’s award winners at a recognition event held at the company’s headquarters in Murray Hill, N.J.

“These outstanding suppliers delivered quality products quickly and presented creative solutions to challenging problems,” Mejia said. “In a highly competitive marketplace, that kind of support is critical.”

“The suppliers we work with excel in a number of areas, but this year’s winners all succeed in each of the five selection criteria – delivery, technology, value, quality and overall relationship,” said Joe Carson, vice president of Lucent’s Supplier Management Group. “We look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationships with them and working with them to better serve our customers.”

“IDT is delighted to be chosen as one of only two semiconductor suppliers to receive Lucent’s 2003 Golden Link Supplier Award,” said Greg Lang, president and CEO of IDT. “As the market leader of products designed to accelerate packet processing in the global network, IDT is committed to delivering solutions that enable our customers’ network services.”
