Nobill integrates traditional IN services, billing services and prepaid billing services for cellular networks including GPRS, the network that provides mobile users with advanced data services, access to the Internet, WAP applications, e-mail and other value-added features.
“We create innovative customer care and billing solutions for companies who want to expand their wireless services offering,” said Thomas Axelsson, president, Symsoft AB. “Performance Technologies’ Channel7 Software and PCI384 Communications Adapter are field-proven solutions that met our demanding application requirements.”
Channel7 is an adaptable SS7 MTP-2 hardware and software solution that provides equipment manufacturers with an SS7 baseline by which to develop revenue generating service platforms. IN services, such as those being addressed by Symsoft’s Nobill platform, depend on the SS7 network for operation, and Channel7 provides a solid foundation for that development.
“Symsoft AB is an excellent example of a customer developing a feature-specific system for an untapped revenue generating segment of the telecommunications market,” said Ed Bizari, director of marketing for Performance Technologies. “Our Channel7 product provides both the features and reliability required for such a platform.”
