12/4/2003 - Intrinsyc Software International, Inc. (TSX:ICS) announced that one of the top financial services groups in the European Union has selected its J-Integra bridging solution for deployment and integration across their key enterprise systems. This worldwide licensing contract, valued at more than $250,000 CDN, will see J-Integra deployed throughout their global operations and used as a core component of their communications infrastructure. Under the terms of the agreement, the customer cannot be named at this time.
Intrinsyc's J-Integra product bridges the gap between Microsoft Windows-based applications and Java applications, allowing software developers to work in one environment, yet re-use software written in the other. J-Integra helps customers extend the market for their Windows-based products by providing a Java Application Programmable Interface to their product at a fraction of the cost and time it would otherwise take for them to deliver the same high-quality capability. J-Integra has been implemented by six out of the top seven largest financial institutions and has more than seventy-five overall deployments in the financial services sector worldwide.
"Intrinsyc has had tremendous worldwide success in winning new contracts for its bridging solutions in the financial services sector" said Derek Spratt, President and Chief Executive Officer, Intrinsyc Software. "This contract is a great win for the Company and further strengthens our position as the leading provider of enterprise integration software to the financial community."
