11/24/2003 - CoWare, Inc., the leading supplier of system-level electronic design automation (EDA) software and services, announced the program for the first of several web seminars on designing, developing, and implementing complex convergence products. This first seminar will focus on the design of Ultra Wideband (UWB) wireless networking products. Renowned wireless design expert Dr. Manouchehr Rafie will present on "Opportunities for UWB Design," including where the technology fits in the wireless landscape, major design issues, and information on the newest design and verification solutions.
A brief introduction will be given by Dr. Heinrich Meyr, CoWare's chief scientist and professor and co-director of the Institute for Integrated Signal Processing System at the Aachen University of Technology (RWTH Aachen). The seminar will also include an update from Eshel Haritan, vice president of SPW engineering for CoWare, on the newest release of CoWare's Signal Processing WorksystemTM (SPW) product line for communications and multimedia systems designers.
The web seminar will be held on December 3, 2003, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. PST, and on December 4, 2003 from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. Each seminar will include an interactive Q&A session.
