(Nasdaq: PTEC), the company driving the global core system software standard in PC systems and connected digital devices for 25 years, announced that Arima, a leading integrated service provider headquartered in Taiwan, has adopted Phoenix FirstWare Assistant into its Arima-branded and "white box" notebooks and tablet PCs.
The Phoenix application turns mobile devices into PDAs by allowing rapid-on access to Microsoft Outlook Personal Information Management (PIM) data, such as calendars, contacts and tasks. It also can be installed into the after-market, ensuring an additional revenue stream.
