NMS Communications Provides Hardware for SER's Call Processing System

11/19/2003 - NMS Communications (Nasdaq:NMSS) announced the signing of agreement with SER Solutions, Inc., a provider of innovative software solutions that help contact centers achieve unprecedented efficiencies, maximize workplace productivity, and enhance customer service. As part of the agreement, NMS Communications will provide hardware for SER's Call Processing System (CPS). SER Solutions chose NMS for its solid technology and track record of providing high quality, cost-effective telephony solutions.

Used by eight of the top ten outbound teleservices companies in the United States, SER's powerful call management systems improve operational efficiencies and agent productivity. SER recently introduced CPS with the new TSP500 outbound dialer delivering contact centers unprecedented reliability and performance while ensuring regulatory compliance.

According to the Telecom Industry Association (TIA), predictive dialers are the component of the outbound telemarketing contact center activity most closely tied to revenue generation. So, even with limited capital investments, spending on predictive dialers continued to expand in 2002, rising by 8.8%. TIA estimates predictive dialer spending will rise to an estimated $1.2 billion in 2006 from $780 million in 2002.
