Performance Technologies Unveils Fully Managed ZT 5551 Pentium III SBC

11/17/2003 - Performance Technologies (Nasdaq NM: PTIX), a leader in unified systems design for the communications, military and commercial markets, introduced the Pentium® III-based ZT 5551 Single Board Computer. The ZT 5551 is the next in an award-winning product roadmap for High Availability, Redundant System Slot single board computers and is a direct upgrade of the company’s highest selling CompactPCI® SBC, the ZT 5550.

Performance Technologies’ ZT 5551 adds capabilities for the PICMG® 2.9 Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) specification, which allows for remote, comprehensive management. The single slot, 6U SBC is designed for redundant processing configurations requiring the highest levels of system availability. It includes a 1GHz low power Pentium III processor and supports up to 2GB of memory.
