Panelview Rolls Out Two Extended Temperature Display Heads

11/17/2003 - Panelview Incorporated, a Subsidiary of White Electronic Designs Corporation (NASDAQ:WEDC) announces the release of two extended temperature display heads to satisfy the needs of ruggedized display application requirements.

The LC050 and LC056 displays, designed at 5.0" and 5.6" in diagonal, are suitable for hi-reliability and avionics applications. They include sunlight readable head assemblies with backlighting for harsh environments. Off-the-shelf AMLCD technology combined with proven ruggedization techniques provide a cost-effective, multifunctional display assembly for commercial, industrial and military applications. WEDCs’ unique patented SBLR® (Super Bright Low Reflectance®) technology provides optimal readability even in bright sunlight.

Both display heads include performance features such as Thin Film Transistor (TFT) Color Active Matrix LCD, 4:3 aspect ratio, and ¼ VGA 320 x 234 resolution. Additionally, each display is equipped to accept 2 channels RGB Analog Input, NTSC Composite Video and S-Video (Y/C).
