11/6/2003 - Charlie Baker, senior product manager for Brooktrout Technology will participate on the Electronic Surveillance Solutions for VoIP Service Providers panel where he will present “Intelligent Peripherals for Surveillance and Monitoring in the VoIP and TDM Markets.” The panel will address what VoIP signals need to be intercepted, how the signals should be handed over to the LEA, and when a service provider should have lawful interception capabilities in place.
Brooktrout Technology offers a full suite of products that can be used for surveillance and monitoring applications, including its Netaccess® Series, NS700TM Signaling System 7 (SS7) product line and the TR1000TM speech recognition platform. Brooktrout’s Netaccess Series is an open systems hardware platform for carrier grade network interface and packet processing applications. Charlie Baker is the senior product manager for Netaccess Series Signaling and Network Interface products at Brooktrout. Prior to joining Brooktrout, he worked as a product manager for the CRM systems company, Expound Inc. Earlier in his career he worked as a program manager in the United States Air Force. During his Air Force career, he managed the design, upgrade, and deployment of Space Defense and Optical Telescope systems. Mr. Baker holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Management from the U.S. Air Force Academy and an MBA from Boston University.
