As an ever growing service, Mobile information delivery is becoming the most popular mobile VAS everywhere in the world. End-users really enjoy and are still searching to get new personalized alerts (Push), breaking news and request information sent directly to their mobile (Pull).

To that end and for the first time in Middle East, MobiLink's 'Goal Flash' allows football fans to keep up-to-the-minute with the European leagues and receive key information by SMS. Goal Flash is covering live matches, match kickoff, goals alert, red card alert, team selections or standing, etc...sent directly on the users mobile phone.

To help MobiLink to deploy this new "Goal Flash" service, Swapcom provided them with the "Multimedia Mobile Information Portal" (MMIP) that enables external providers to dynamically import, format and deliver multimedia contents using SMS-EMS, Cell-Broadcast or MMS messages.

Eng. Waleed Alsayegh, CEO of Mobilink explains : "With Goal Flash, Mobilink is now offering the quickest and most convenient way of keeping our client up to the minute with all the latest news from the European football teams.

Since the commercial launch of the service, mid of September 2003, we have more than 1500 subscriptions to this Goal Flash service and we generate a traffic of more than 12 000 messages per championship's daily. Once again, Swapcom has confirmed us its solid background in providing reliable, flexible and easy-to-use value added services. We also could lean on its high quality of support."

"MobiLink is a very dynamic service provider in Middle East and we are delighted to team up again with them and asserted our presence in the Middle-East market. With MMIP, MobiLink is developing a range of innovative, easy-to-use mobile services offering compelling content at excellent value for money." adds Abderrahim Rochdi, Sales Director at Swapcom.
