Datang Develops Equipment with Tek Wireless Communications Analyzers

(NYSE:TEK), a leading provider of test, measurement and monitoring solutions for wireless designers and manufacturers, announced Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co., Ltd., a major provider of telecommunications equipment in China, will use Tektronix' Series of Wireless Communication Analyzers (WCA) for development of next-generation user equipment.

As operators prepare to deploy third-generation (3G) networks throughout the world, equipment manufacturers are racing to make certain 3G devices, including Time Division - Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access (TD-SCDMA) and Wideband - Code Division Multiple Access (W-CDMA) enabled user equipment, are available. In order to meet the design requirements for these devices, companies such as Datang Mobile need new, more versatile test equipment.
