National Instruments Receives Second Standard of Excellence Award

10/15/2003 - For the second year, the Web Marketing Association recognized National Instruments Web site with a "Standard of Excellence" award based on superior scores from more than 250 expert judges in categories including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, navigation and ease of use.

The Web site features a comprehensive online store containing more than 1083 measurement and automation products. Visitors can view pricing information in their local currency, make purchases 24 hours a day and track the status of their orders. They also can obtain detailed information about NI software and hardware from the site's extensive collection of technical information and use interactive product advisors to configure and order products based on their individual specifications.

The unlimited information and services available at help engineers through every step of their application development. Visitors to find a wide range of information available in English, Spanish, German and Japanese. They also can access more than 10,400 KnowledgeBase documents covering common programming and installation questions, 3,000 example programs and 1,500 tutorials. In addition, visitors can receive assistance through a "call me" feature that sends a request for a technical expert to promptly call the visitor.

Engineers also can visit NI Developer Zone ( and LabVIEW Zone ( to exchange development techniques and share code. These online communities feature NI and user-developed resources including online discussion forums, instrument drivers, example code, tutorials, in-depth articles and application-specific insights.
