Altera Hosts PLD World Conference in Japan for 10th Year

10/14/2003 - Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) announced it is hosting its 10th annual PLD World Conference, one of the largest privately sponsored industry events held in Japan.

Manufacturing executives and managers, engineers, system designers, service providers, device manufacturers, industry press and analysts are invited to attend free technical sessions and hands-on demonstrations. These sessions will highlight the latest in PLD technology, including digital signal processing co-processors, high-speed system design, embedded processors, block-based design, and high-speed memory interfaces. In addition, conference participants will get an advance look at three new product families, including Altera’s 90-nm FPGAs coming in 2004.
