iBeta Expands Services with Parasoft Automated Error Prevention

Traditional software testing methodologies focus on testing "early and often" to try to control development costs. If an error is detected at any time during the software lifecycle, it is sent back to the development organization, fixed and re-tested. The traditional approach is limited because it does not do anything to prevent the error from happening again, leaving a single organization at risk to encounter and pay for the same types of errors thousands of times.

The AEP concept advocates following five simple steps to improve the software lifecycle by finding an error only once and preventing entire classes of the error from ever happening again.
