10/7/2003 - Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) announced it has been recognized with a "Metro Test Equipment Market Leadership Award" from Frost & Sullivan, a global strategic market and growth-consulting firm, placing first in the "World MAN Test Equipment Market" report.
The award is given to companies that exhibit market share leadership through the implementation of market strategy. Agilent was commended for its innovation and reorganization to meet the key needs of metro test equipment end-users, and for its wide range of test tools matched to each step of the metropolitan area network (MAN) equipment life cycle.
