Extended Systems’ Sync Software to Support Lotus Notes and Domino 6

1/28/2003 - Extended Systems, a leading provider of mobile information management solutions for the enterprise, announced at Lotusphere 2003 that the upcoming new release of XTNDConnect Server—the company’s mobile data management and synchronization solution for mobile devices—will support Lotus Notes and Domino 6. The announcement further demonstrates Extended Systems’ commitment to support the latest versions of popular groupware applications, including the full spectrum of Lotus Notes on the Domino platform.

Among other features to be announced early next month, the next version of XTNDConnect Server will provide enhanced security features for mobile users connecting to the Domino platform including the ability to authenticate using "More Secure" passwords. The software also will provide enhanced group-scheduling features that will enable Palm device users utilizing Lotus Notes to view attendees and meeting rooms. The software already gives Pocket PC and RIM users this functionality.
