9/25/2002 - e.Digital announced a joint marketing partnership with MP3.com to provide an exclusive version of the best new music from The Download, MP3.comís nationally syndicated college radio program, on e.Digitalís soon-to-be-launched music Web site. Songs from The Download also will be bundled with select e.Digital portable audio players. The initiative expands the services offered and provided through e.Digitalís Broadband Entertainment Business Unit.
Visitors to e.Digitalís new music Web site will be able to stream or download a special version of MP3.comís 2-hour college radio program.

Hosted by Tom Perry, former DJ on WHFS in Washington, D.C. and 91X in San Diego, The Download is MP3.com's nationally-syndicated college radio show. Each show features two hours of the best new music from the Internet, consisting of up-and-coming digital artists as well as many high profile artists. Recent programs have included tracks from the well-known group Jimmy Eat World as well as songs from emerging bands EBO, Jucifer, and Brendan Benson. The Download airs each week on more than 40 college stations across the U.S. and Canada in major markets including New York; Chicago; Washington, D.C.; San Francisco; and Milwaukee.
