Fujitsu I-Network Systems Selects IP Infusion's IPv4, IPv6, and Virtual Routing Protocols for their IP Routing Product

9/19/2002 - Fujitsu I-Network Systems and IP Infusion announced that IP Infusion's ZebOSTM Advanced Routing Suite (ZebOS) has been selected to provide RIP, OSPF, BGP, and virtual routing support for Fujitsu I-Network Systems routing products in order to reduce time to market.

"By using IP Infusion's IPv4 and IPv6 routing protocols, Fujitsu I-Network Systems can focus on our value-added features rather than having to spend the resources redoing routing protocols," said Yukihiro Nakajima, Product Manager of Fujitsu I-Network Systems. "IP Infusion also provides integrated features such as virtual routing that allow us to further differentiate our products and create more value for our customers.

"Fujitsu I-Network Systems selection of our IPv4 and IPv6 routing protocols for their IP Access product continues our success in a broad range of markets, from the access, to the edge, to the core of the network," said Nick Keating, President and CEO of IP Infusion. "Customers like Fujitsu I-Network Systems can select the subset of our integrated, scalable set of IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, and multicast products that they need for their solutions. In Fujitsu I-Network Systems' case, they are using our RIP, BGP, OSPF, and virtual routing protocols. This flexibility allows them to select only the protocols they need and makes it easier and more cost effective for them to integrate routing protocols into their access products."

Fujitsu I-Network Systems focuses their development on advanced IP functions that communication carriers require for the new circuit service. Their products support IP-VPN Services, IPsec (includes aggressive mode), IPv6 Routing, Hot Standby, VRRP, Firewall functions, QoS and SNMP.
