SimpleTech and DPAC Technologies Dismiss Litigation Between Companies
9/13/2002 - SimpleTech and DPAC Technologies announced that the patent and trade secret lawsuit pending in the Federal District Court for the Central District of California has been dismissed without prejudice by joint stipulation of SimpleTech and DPAC. SimpleTech filed the lawsuit in February 2001 and DPAC subsequently filed a counterclaim. The lawsuit was scheduled for trial in June 2003. A dismissal without prejudice allows for the potential refiling of a lawsuit in the future.
