9/9/2002 - Beckhoff Industrie Elektronik is focused on expanded representation in the booming central and eastern European market. The establishment of its own subsidiary in Poland will strengthen both sales of automation products and professional support directly at the end user.
Beckhoff Poland is based in the capital Warsaw and is managed by Zbigniew Piatek. The prospect of EU entry promises above-average growth for the Polish economy. Beckhoff wishes to be involved in the shaping of this market at an early stage and aims to establish their innovative technologies in a variety of customer applications. "Polish entrepreneurs are very open towards new technologies from western Europe", says Piatek and continues: "The Polish market will therefore strongly orientate itself on open systems such as PC-based automation systems from Beckhoff."
Beckhoff Poland also plans to establish sound relationships with end users in addition to a close cooperation network with system integrators. "Today, customers require complete solutions, which we supply as turnkey solutions", says Piatek. Other activities of our sales team in Poland include services for international customers who export their machines and control systems equipped with Beckhoff components to Poland.
The Polish company increases the number of Beckhoff subsidiaries abroad to six: Switzerland, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Poland, USA plus two Beckhoff branches in Canada and China. Furthermore, through cooperation partners, Beckhoff is represented in more than 30 countries worldwide.
