8/20/2002 - Rational Software announced the introduction of the new Rational Business Alliance Program (RBAP), which will empower Rational and its partners to more keenly focus on the success and satisfaction of mutual customers.
RBAP, which replaces the Rational Unified Partner Program, includes more than 500 organizations that either extend Rational's software solutions or provide targeted services to help customers get the most out of Rational solutions. Within RBAP, Technology Alliances provide a special product integration or add-in that extends and increases the value of Rational solutions. Service Alliances offer complementary services and expertise to those solutions offered by Rational.
RBAP will benefit customers by offering detailed information on the value provided by each alliance member. Alliance members are rated on their successful service engagements and/or customer references, and then are identified as Field Tested, Silver or Gold, stamps of approval for the Rational customer community. Rational offers customers a searchable database of alliance members that enables them to easily choose among these trusted, proven partners for a solution that will best suit their needs.
"Ensemble Systems has worked closely with Rational Software to develop leading business technologies, including integrations and plug-ins that extend the Rational life-cycle solution. Our alliance with Rational has been an important asset in Ensemble's evolution, and we're excited to continue working with Rational as a member of the Rational Business Alliance Program," said Ron Williams, president, Ensemble Systems.
"The new Rational Business Alliance Program significantly increases Andrews Technology's ability to work with Rational field teams in providing comprehensive product and service solutions to the client," said Garth Andrews, president of Andrews Technology. "Rational and its clients will now have a higher level of confidence that the alliance members are truly an extension of the Rational Team and can provide the high level of service needed to successfully implement Rational's solutions."
"RTTS' membership and position in the Rational Business Alliance Program is indicative of the level of service we provide to Rational's customers," said Bill Hayduk, director of consulting services for RTTS, a Gold level alliance partner. "RTTS' professional services group delivers solutions built on the strengths of Rational products, bringing together two corporations with complementary skills and experience that enable customers to cost-effectively increase the productivity of their software development process and meet their objectives."
"Noblestar has been a Rational partner for over five years, helping solve clients' business problems throughout the U.S. and Europe with a software engineering approach to developing successful business solutions," said Richard Hartmann, director of Custom Software Engineering at Noblestar. "As a Gold level alliance partner, we look forward to working closely with the Rational field teams, product managers and marketing to continue our track record of teaming together to deliver high-quality software solutions for our mutual clients."
