7/31/2002 - Microchip Technology (Nasdaq: MCHP) today kicked off Microchip’s Annual Summer Technical Exchange Review (MASTERs), its sixth annual conference in Phoenix, Arizona with more than 600 leading worldwide embedded designers attending the four-day event.
A leading resource for designing with Microchip products, the MASTERs Conference provides design engineers with an annual forum for sharing and exchanging technical information on the Company's PICmicro® microcontrollers, high-performance linear and mixed-signal solutions, KEELOQ® security devices, dsPIC™ digital signal controllers and microID® RFID devices.
Attendees can select from 55 technical courses, including "PIC18F Bootloader," "Tips and Tricks When Designing with 8-pin Mixed Signal PIC MCUs” and "IC Thermal Circuits Solve Temperature Measurement Problems." Other activities include networking sessions between consultants and customers to discuss relevant design topics, meeting with third-party development tool experts, a wafer fab plant tour and a robot-building competition.
Prior to this year’s program, MASTERs was an invitation-only event, reserved specifically for Microchip customers and designees. Given the program’s success, Microchip decided to open enrollment to the public at large, enabling the entire industry to benefit from the Company’s expertise. Microchip expects participants will gain a thorough understanding of how to design and develop embedded control applications using Microchip's extensive product portfolio.
