New ACE USB 2.0 Portable (JTAG) Emulator for TI DSPs

7/26/2002 - Kane Computing Ltd (KCL) today introduced the ACE, a USB 2.0 based portable JTAG emulator for Texas Instrument DSPs.

The ACE USB 2.0 supports Code Composer Studio and features automatic detection of processor I/O voltage (1 - 5V) and has a variable JTAG clock between 5MHz and 20MHz.

The ACE provides high level, real-time debugging of TI DSPs and ARM processors, with Code Composer Studio 2.x, RTDX and DSP BIOS. DSP families supported include OMAP, ARM7, ARM9, C24x, C28x, VC33, C54xx, C55x, C62xx, C67xx and C64xx, operating under Windows 98/ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP Operating Systems.

The ACE has a compact design of rugged anodised (non-conductive) aluminium and measures 15x15x80mm and is a high quality emulator that complements Kane Computing’s emulator product range.
